The Battery Shack would like to introduce itself as a supplier of HI-AMP alternators. All of our units are built on a Delco type case. We have assembled these units with a very capable internal voltage regulator. It reads your battery voltage and puts out the correct amount of charge. It will put out the maximum charge when your batteries are at their lowest value. The unit will then drop to a more moderate charge as your battery starts to respond. When the battery comes up to near full charge, the alternator will go to a float charge and stay there, without ever overcharging your battery..... and it does it all by itself! This unit is rated at 100 AMPS. It will deliver a fast charge at low speed. We have made this unit to be an easy replacement, without any modifications. It is a single wire hookup, and is self-exciting. It comes in both 1 inch & 2 inch mounting foot. It is also available in a double foot model to replace most Japanese models. It comes with a 2 5/8 inch pully to insure enough R.P.M. at the alternator, so you don't need to race your engine. If your batteries are very low, this unit will deliver 70 AMPS at 1200 engine R.P.M.
